Understanding Territoriality: Identity, Place & Possession (TIPP)

Understanding Territoriality: Identity, Place and Possession (TIPP) is a 2-year project led by Fabrica (Brighton, UK) and in partnership with Otvorena soba (Skopje, Macedonia),
Netwerk (Aalst, Belgium) and Cittadellarte Fondazione Pistoletto(Biella, Italy).

Understanding Territoriality: Identity, Place and Possession (TIPP) concerns how tensions between the personal, the local and the general (which are at the crux of
the debate about our cultural identity) are threatening the sustainability of our nation states and the European Union. Through exhibitions, international residencies,
audience engagement programmes and discursive events TIPP will create an artistic programme for diverse audiences that will further our understanding of ‘territoriality’
and its relationship to cultural identity, and provide a platform to debate its importance to Europe.
The project is co-funded by Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
